Designer notes:
Our new line of Lavalan insulated garments is named after Norway’s southernmost living fishing village, Ona. The island is located in the ocean gap at the far end of the Romsdal coast, and 16 people live here all year round. It is only natural that our first ever Lavalan product line should be named after this picturesque island, with a beauty that attracts travelers from far and near. Lavalan® is the highly functional wool filling completely made from renewable raw materials, European sourced virgin wool and a corn based synthetic fibre called polylactic acid (PLA). The wool used for our Ona garments are made from Norwegian wool. The shell fabric is made from water repellent, down-proof, recycled polyester. The jacket can be used as outerwear, or as a mid-layer under your shell jacket. It has a zipper in front, with snap buttons on the collar, and zipped front pockets.
